Is the Justice Department Corrupt?
jim-tThis column is based on a report filed by Stephen Dinan of the Washington Times newspaper. The report was filed by Mr. Dinan on November 8, 2011.

There is no doubt that the current Justice Department conveniently ignored allegations of voter intimidation by the Black Panthers. On the other hand, they have done everything they could to evade the facts of Fast and Furious, which was a gun-running scheme, instituted by the Justice Department, that resulted in the apparent deaths of over 200 Mexicans in Mexico, along with the probable death of a Border Agent. When Attorney General Eric Holder testified before congress concerning Fast and Furious, he, at first, for the most part, evaded questions and then more recently admitted that it was a program which went terribly wrong. At no time did Holder demonstrate any remorse for the death of the Border Agent. He passed on the opportunity to apologize to the family of the slain border agent.

If all of the above was not bad enough, the Justice Department just won a conviction against a Border Agent they claim was using excessive force while detaining a 15 year old Mexican suspected smuggler. The U.S Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas said Agent Jesus E. Diaz violated the rules when he twisted the suspected smuggler’s arms and used his knee to apply pressure to the man’s body. Now, Agent Diaz has to serve two years in prison because a corrupt Justice Department, which cannot even tell the truth about anything, goes after people who are protecting this nation. It seems that the Justice Department picks and chooses just who they wish to prosecute no matter whether they are serving their nation or not. In fact, it seems that criminals, according to their race and nationality, are given a green light to do what they wish to do to certain American citizens, based on Eric Holder’s decisions on whom he wishes to grant immunity and whom he wishes to prosecute.

That is not the end of this story. Now, the Justice Department is demanding that the wife of the Border Agent pay a fine of $6,870. Also, the Justice Department just sent a notice to Mrs. Diaz demanding she pay the fine immediately. The Justice Department sent this notice even though, according to Stephen Dinan of The Washington Times, the Judge in the case told Mrs. Diaz that the process for the fines would not begin until a month after her husband was released from federal prison.

As a side note, the Justice Department decided to prosecute Agent Diaz even after Diaz was cleared of wrongdoing after two internal reviews. Yes, you read correctly – he had first been cleared of wrongdoing twice and for whatever the reason, the decision was overturned.

Did the Justice Department prosecute Diaz because Obama wants the Hispanic vote, and Obama and Holder felt by sacrificing the freedom of a Border Agent that was what they needed to obtain the Hispanic vote? In other words, it seems Obama and Holder feel justified sacrificing an American for political gain.

I am so disgusted with this story that I wrote the Justice Department and let them know just how I feel about this case. I also let them know I feel that the Justice Department is corrupt and racist.

I believe it is necessary that more Americans, who love this nation, be willing to put it all on the line. It seems it is getting to the point where if we do not alert people of what is occurring in this nation by this corrupt administration, all will be lost.

It takes courage to speak out. Where do you stand? Are you willing to stand up even when it puts you in the position of possible persecution?

Please pray that the citizens of this nation will gain courage while they are facing corruption and injustice.
